First of all, I hope that receipt showing 3 months payment is in your possession. Since they acknowledge they have received 1 month payment and you can prove you made 3 months payment (by virtue of the receipt) it is clear that it is their liability. There is no way they can wriggle out of this one saying the person was not authorized because they acknowledge 1 month payment via the same route. Don't give up. You can get compensated for your business loss too.
