D-Link router heating up quick

Posted: 06 May 2011 04:42 AM PDT

Routers generally do get heated up,even more so in summer. You will have to keep your router in a ventilated place preferably closer to the location of your ceiling fan or whatever fan u r using.Unfortunately, routers do not come with preinstalled mini fans & therefore u will have to compromise with the location of your router & use longer cables if it is wired.
On the bright side,u can do what I always do.
Put that cold slice of pizza on your router, & before u know it will be hot.
Who needs a microwave when u have routers.:imwink:

Doubts about the authenticity of Hayai Broadband

It is always better to wear the right type of armor & have proper equipments
before going to war.

I'd rather do that & win the war. Than just jump into the war without proper
preparations just because some guy told me to do so because he thinks I have no guts or courage.

Its my life on the line not his / theirs. :sniper:

Is MTNL Going to provide IPv6 support or should we go paranoid about it !!!!!!

But most people wont know how to do that!! So MTNL will have to send engineer to every house!

Send engineer to every house, OMG, like the engineers(plural) who came to my house today.I had no connectivity & after fiddling with my pc for half an hour they called their boss who is actually the real & only engineer in the exchange to come & check it.
Well, after they left after assuring that their boss is coming,I am waiting ever since.
It appears that their sole engineer laapata hogaya hain. So, i called the exchange to enquire about him & I am told that he is in the field? What field? Is he a navy seal or what?
So, MTNL will have to bundle an engineer with every ipv6 address alotted.
Buy 1 get 1 free.

the mtnl aunties will say what is bridge? are you staying near bridge? :001_tt2:

This just in. Linemen(plural) unsuccessfully tried to fix my net connection while talking to so called engineer over his cell.
The way he was pressing/smashing the touchpad of my laptop :bulgy-eyes: I felt like tonking him on the head.:Bat:
Moreover, I had to open local area connection->properties for him. I mean he was worse than those MTNL aunties.
