Posted: 21 May 2011 04:57 AM PDT Quote: :) i doubt he will agree to reduced prices but u cud definitely keep silent regarding the dc++ issue and try connecting once u get the connection. btw ur distributor is a hell of a greedy guy i must say ! he is charging for every small thing most of which looks like hez pulled it outta thin air !!! | Vodafone Official MNP policy for people wanting to port out. Posted: 21 May 2011 04:24 AM PDT Hey i am also stuck up in VF prepaid. I applied for it on Monday, 16th May. And i got a confirmation from them on 18th, mentioning that they received my request & that within next 96 hours, they will update the status to me. Its almost 72 hours by tonight, and still no replies. The dilemma i am in right now is: I am on roaming, so as it is i will get double charged for calling the Customer Care (Care???) Next, i have12-13 in my balance, coz i dont want to lose out on huge amounts of talktime. So, i cant think of calling them for a minute as well. The site mentioned above asks for address. But my problem is, i myself am not sure as to how many days i will stay here......it all depends on the amount of work to be done by me, which is unclear at the moment. So which address shud i give to lodge my complaint - Home or my current location :( Whoever meets me, surely i will tell him/her never to opt for Vodafone, coz if u want to opt out of it, u will bump into a huge rock. First this pathetic service, and then reluctance to Port out a number. And then the data comes that "Vodafone is the biggest Net Gainer in Mobile Number Portability Wars".....obviously, they block all Port outs & allow all port ins, they will gain the maximum. ---------- Post added at 04:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:36 PM ---------- This ordeal has got me even more determined to get out of VF by hook or by crook. Btw, where is the "Vodafone Care" these days, who had replied to my comment on shifting to Idea?? They asked me to write to their Customer care for solving my issue.....where are they now?? |
| Best Television to buy for around 40000? Help me out. Posted: 21 May 2011 04:15 AM PDT Contrast ratio - look for numbers in Static Contrast ratios.......Dynamic is the peak it can achieve. But Static will be the regular contrast it can offer consistently. Just like PMPO & RMS in Audio...... So what if DTH doesnt offer u 1080p.....u can always connect external storages for that. And who knows when DTH start offering u 1080p. My belief - i dont think TVs offering 1080i, at a lower price than 1080p are available. Refresh rate - look for 100+Mhz these days. And Brand - well the features that u find the best, coupled with the warranty available, and of course the Price!! LG is cheaper than Samsung, but that doesnt mean that Samsung is better. LG too is really good. I am using LG 42 LED since more than a year. About others - Videocon, Panasonic, Toshiba, i dont have much idea regarding the quality of products, so i cant comment, may be someone else can help u out. |
