Adsense TOS – Traffic Exchange Programs not Allowed

Posted: 30 May 2011 09:06 PM PDT

Those of you who have been Google Adsense Ads on your websites and blogs should be informed that the TOS has been updated giving us a hint that all the traffic exchange programs are no more allowed. This is not a new update actually because this was something which was never allowed but after a note on the official Google Adsense blog.

Reasons why Google AdSense Accounts are Disabled
How to Avoid Google Adsense Account Ban

The program policies strictly prohibit any means of artificially generating ad impressions or clicks, including third-party services such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, auto-surf, and click-exchange programs. These programs offer incentives for users to view web pages or click on ads, resulting in activity that is harmful to our advertisers.
2leep isn't suitable for adsense. It generates traffic that can cause invalid clicks. I don't know who 2leep was okay for adsense, but any site that sends you traffic just because have a code on your site isn't the type of traffic adsense considers suitable. It doesn't have to be "paid traffic" to be considered unsuitable.
Recently many Google Adsense Accounts were disabled and the main reason for this has been the Traffic Exchange Programs which were used on their blogs. There is no official statement on this but as a precautionary measure its suggested not to use any of them. Things to Avoid – Programs that may bring uninterested users to your site, such as traffic exchange programs where you purchase or trade user traffic, possibly generating invalid activity.
Some of them include :
MGID
2leep
zaparena
wahoha etc
Few reasons why these sites may be breaking TOS are :
Traffic Exchange : You are going to click on one of those banners on a blog and visit another blog and visit another one through those banners again, this is nothing but a traffic exchange in a chain process. Non-Converting Clicks : If someone visits your blog through one of those eye-catching the chances are that the person would be more interested in that banner related content rather than the advertisements. Hence, even if the visitor would click on the ad, the chances of any type of conversions are very less just increasing the advertisers costs for nothing. Adult Content : You may not be directly publishing adult or non-family friendly content on your blog but the banners would have these adult thumbnails to ensure higher CTR and also the visitors would be lead to some bad website.
Recently another Adsense Publisher got his domain disabled from Google Adsense and the only issue he suspected was the usage of 2leep.com because the blog post has only content without Images and nothing else. As a publisher, YOU are responsible for everything that appears on your site pages. No matter where it comes from. Since you signed up for a service that really isn't compatible for adsense users, and you have their stuff on your site, it is considered your responsiblity.
Adsense has disabled ad serving to your site – they won't be returned unless you file a request for reconsideration. Unless you remove the 2leep stuff, that isn't going to happen. The chances of getting a ban lifted up is also very less hence its always better to play safe rather than first trying out these illegal or inappropriate programs and then suffering from the ad network bans.
Always take the best decision for the long run! Decide now!

MacBook Pro 15-inch 2011 (expert,s review)

Posted: 30 May 2011 08:57 PM PDT

For yet another year, Apple is continuing with what can be called a tradition of maintaining the general look and feel of their MacBook Pro range, while only upgrading the internals to bring them up to speed with the current market trends. The latest generation MacBook Pros feature Intel's Sandy Bridge range of processors along with updated graphics, relatively new I/O technology named Thunderbolt and high definition FaceTime camera.

Bundle
  • MacBook Pro
  • Display cleaning cloth
  • 85W MagSafe Power Adapter, AC wall plug, and power cord
  • Software DVDs
  • Printed and electronic documentation

We expected Apple to bundle the new flash drive that they provide with the latest generation MacBook Air for re-installing the OS and the iLife suite of applications, but were disappointed to see the same old dual DVDs in the bundle.

Design and Build
The total number of visible changes from the last generation model is one and you will be forgiven to miss it upon initial inspection. It's the tiny Thunderbolt symbol besides the port, which replaces the erstwhile Mini DisplayPort symbol found on the older machines.

Apart from that it is identical to the older model; not that it's a bad thing. Few designs age as gracefully as that of the MacBook Pro, which still looks good after all these years. We wouldn't blame Apple if they choose to maintain this design for their next generation models as well. The MacBook Pro is the Coke bottle in the world of laptops. Also, I'd rather have a laptop that looks the same as the one before it rather than one that looks like every other.

But that isn't to say it's perfect. There are some design issues which I had previously addressed in a separate article. Like the position of the USB ports that are so close to each other that if you plug in a thick drive it renders the port next to it completely useless. I would have also liked if Apple printed the names of the ports next to the speaker grille on top instead of on the right, next to them, so that they could be visible from top without having to tilt your head sideways.

Of course, the symbols would have been hidden when you close the lid, but why would you need to know them then anyway? With the help of the symbol, one would have known the general location of the port on the side making it easier to plug in stuff. This is a tiny design detail but something one would expect from Apple instead of having to tell them.

The other thing is the sharp edges, particularly near the display hinge. Now this is no children's toy for the edges to be smoothened but these are some seriously sharp edges that we are talking about here and could be lethal even to an adult.

Lastly it's the ventilation. Apple places the vents below the display hinge. A very clever solution for reducing the clutter of vents that you see on other laptops but one that has a very serious side effect in the form of skin toasting heat levels when the machine is under stress. Using the machine in the Indian summer in a non-air conditioned room made me feel glad man invented desks and that there is no rule that laptops must be used on laps.

Build quality is top notch, the aluminum unibody feels as solid as ever. The display hinge is a bit loose though, so if you tilt the base, the display moves a bit.

Display, Keyboard and Trackpad
Again nothing new here, which is a bit disappointing. We expected higher resolution displays, but Apple has maintained the display resolutions across all models. It's especially disappointing now that the new 13-inch MacBook Air has the same resolution as the 15-inch MacBook Pro. Not that the display looks bad, quite the opposite actually.

The display is very vivid and bright with great colors and contrast. The gamma levels were slightly less though, which makes the blacks look really black but some of the deeper shades of gray were lost, and images had a slightly darker look. The 15-inch comes with the option of a non-glossy screen, which is recommended for professional work such as image or video editing, as stray reflections can be detrimental to such work.

The backlit keyboard on the MacBooks have always been excellent. It's again the same as the previous model and in fact it is also common across all MacBooks, regardless of their size. The multi-touch trackpad is again, the best in the business.

HTC INCREDIBLE'S connectivity, browsers applicatons and androis :review

HTC Incredible S Review

Connectivity
The smartphone features Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. The latter works fine, but the former is a serious problem. The device took almost ten minutes to pick-up a signal from DLink DIR 600 router. The Nokia N79 and Nokia N8 took about three seconds to discover the same hotspot simultaneously. When I moved into another room, the HTC did not detect the router at all. We let it scan for hours, but the router's SSID was never picked up. This is something that even the much cheaper Nokia C3 and Dell Mini 1018 had no problems achieving. We can't seem to tell if it is due to a weak radio or a software bug.

Whenever you connect this phone to a PC via the micro-USB cable, you get a list of options such as Charge Only, Disk Drive, HTC Sync, USB Tethering and Internet Pass-through. Everything is self explanatory, but in case you still don't get it, HTC provides a short description for each function. For Internet Pass-through it says Connect Phone to Internet via PC. This function is unique and is hardly found on any smartphone, as most manufacturers don't risk upsetting the carriers. HTC deserves credit for upholding the interests of the users over money grubbing telecom companies, who stand to lose money if we are allowed to (and rightfully, I must add) use our phones as Internet gateways.

The phone is preinstalled with the HTC Portable Hotspot app that comes handy to share 3G connectivity with your laptop. It's just like the good ol' JoikuSpot application, which has been available for the Symbian devices since the past three years. Interestingly HTC Incredible S is DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) certified.  That means, the phone can pull of some 'magical' tricks like the Apple's Airplay. It isn't so magical now, is it? If you have a television set supporting DLNA, the HTC can stream videos onto it.

To be honest, the technology such as Airplay isn't anything new. Even DLNA, for that matter, isn't new. Nokia has a laundry list of DLNA certified devices up its sleeve. I remember streaming songs from my Nokia N82 to my PC. Nokia N95 8GB variant was the first device to boast that feature. Streaming obviously requires a wireless router. The basics are still same as those employed to achieve that on the Nokia, but the process is simplified and beginner friendly in case of the HTC Incredible S.

Browser
The browser has now become the most important aspect of a smartphone. This is where the Android OS stands tall against the competition. The default HTC Incredible S browser has support for HTML5 and Flash 10.1. There is hardly any website which won't render properly on this phone. The interface is superb and thankfully no virtual buttons spoil your browsing experience. Text prediction is spot-on in the address bar. There are usual buttons for basics like Back and Forward functions, but there seems to be no Exit button. Somewhat like Hotel California, if you must. I tried YouTube.com to the test the Flash capabilities of the browser, and it worked like a charm. Then we got a little ambitious and went for miniclip.com, and even then the site worked well.

We played a couple of games and everything worked like it should on a PC. No slowdown or any conflict regarding the aspect-ratio. The Flash games run almost in full screen and targeting is easier with the touch interface. We couldn't think of any more tests and simply accepted the fact that this is one of the best browsers on a smartphone. It proves that Flash websites can be handled properly on a mobile. I wonder what new excuse Apple will come up with for not including browser-based Flash support on their devices. Heck, even Flash being a memory hog doesn't sound plausible in this day and age. I mean, if a humble Incredible S can do it, why can't the magical Apple iDevices do the same?

Applications and Android Market
Applications like QuickOffice and PDF viewer are preinstalled. The former allows viewing and editing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files. The latter is self explanatory. There is also a Flashlight application, but at this price it better double-up as a lightsaber. The dual-LED flash powered flashlight has three intensity modes. Somthing that's very useful if you live in suburbs. Social networking is covered with mandatory Facebook and Twitter apps. Everyone and their uncle knows how that works, so I won't bother. In case you don't, consider yourself lucky and move onto the next section before you end up doing something stupid like creating an account or two.

The HTC Incredible android latest personal review

Posted: 30 May 2011 08:49 PM PDT

Expensive, but the best Android smartphone in the market until the dual-cores come along.

Incredible display; Genuine multitasking; Beautiful UI; 8 Megapixel Camera; Great design; Excellent web-browser.

Expensive, Weak Wi-Fi radio; Can't play 720p DivX & XviD videos; Paltry 1 GB internal memory; Lacks HDMI port; Poor battery Performance.

if u have any questions about dis handset please leave a comment below

The HTC Incredible S wasn't love at first sight for me. That may be because it is just another 'droid, or it is simply down to the horrible name. Nokia may bore you to death with robotic naming convention, but on the other hand, HTC blurs the line between creativity and hilarity with phones such as HTC Hero, Trophy, Rider, Flyer, Dream and Chacha. However, I can't seem to get my hands off this phone - banal nomenclature notwithstanding. The device may not look stunning, but it blends subtlety with out-of-the-box design cues. While it certainly can't beat Nokia N8's excellent anodized aluminium unibody, the attention to detail that HTC has put into the Incredible S is remarkable nonetheless.
Unboxing and Introduction
The phone supports PC charging through the micro-USB cable, HTC also throws in a wall-socket-to-USB adapter for the times when you don't have access to a PC. The supplied headset sticks to tradition with its ugly looks and lacklustre sound quality. Since the phone has only 1GB of internal memory, the retail package mercifully includes an 8 GB microSD card. A rubberised plastic construction provides a comfortable grip over the device. It is good to see HTC experiment with the body material, instead of replicating the design cues of phones such as iPhone and Samsung Galaxy series. The back-cover protrudes along the outline of the battery, but instead of forming a rectangle, it assumes the shape of a SIM card.

HTC Incredible S Review

The phone has dimensions of 120 x 64 x 11.7 mm and weighs 135.5 g. The Incredible S sports a 4" S-LCD display, which is nothing short of spectacular. The panel has pixel dimensions of 480x800. Despite being an LCD, the display is as good as any fancy AMOLED or Super-AMOLED display. It delivers vivid colours with great contrasts and maintains definition even over acute viewing angles. Sadly, the display tends to reflect light. Even though the text remains readable, the colours seem to fade out under the sun.

HTC Incredible S Review

Just below the display are four capacitive keys - Home, Menu, Back, and Search. Being capacitive, the keys won't react to anything but your finger. The placement of these keys and the backlight goes perfectly with the display. These capacitive keys even auto-rotate along with it; while that adds nothing to functionality, it looks damn good.

HTC Incredible S Review

A lock/power button and a 3.5 mm jack reside at the top edge. The volume rocker on the left edge of the phone is flanked by a bare micro-USB port. The right edge has nothing, where a camera key is conspicuous by its absence. Not only does it rob one of the pleasures of using the phone like a standalone camera, but it prevents one-touch-triggering of the autofocus feature. The rear bears a relatively large lens with dual-LED flash and a loudspeaker grille.

HTC Incredible S Review

The battery cover is easy to release, as long as you can pry it open with your fingernails. It reveals a SIM Card and a MicroSD memory card slot. The bundled 8GB memory card isn't sufficient to hold a good collection of music and movies. A miserly 1 GB internal memory doesn't help matters either. That's a shame when the market is rife with the likes of Nokia N8 and Samsung Galaxy S - both of which boast of 16 GB internal storage. A gigabyte will never be sufficient, considering the number of Android apps available - most of which will be installed to the internal memory.

If you want to make a lot of money with Google AdSense you are going to need traffic and plenty of it. The ironic thing is that the same people that are paying your bills will also be sending you the traffic to earn that money. So in reality Google is like a loving mother feeding their child. Ok, maybe that was a bad analogy and it's certain that you will only be fed if you play your cards right and follow mom's rules…

Generally the topics that are covered in this type of discussion include:

2.) How to increase your Google page rank

Four Google tips and tricks that will help you " make money online "

Tip no. 1
Try to write articles with search engine optimization strategies in mind. What do I mean by this? When creating your content make sure to include your target keywords. If you do this too much you may be flagged by Google, but if you don't do this enough, your article will most likely remain hidden from the masses.

Tip no. 2
Try to network with website and blog owners in the same niche. The possibilities are limitless if you work as a team to increase the greater good of your small community. You will find all sorts of ways to incorporate contextual one way links into each others sites to maximize your authority in your niche.

Tip no. 3
Article directories are a great way to obtain anchor text backlinks and show Google that you're the boss! There are a few things you should know before you attempt this strategy. Make sure that the content you post on article directories is not identical to the articles you post on your website.

Tip no. 4
Create quality one way links in all sorts of places including, forums, do follow blogs, website directories etc… The more variation your links have the better you're chances for success with the SERP's, Google is smart enough to detect natural linking behavior. If it finds you have been doing otherwise, it will penalize you, of that you can be assured.

The following are just a few things that you can do to start to " make money online " with Google. The more of these strategies you implement, the faster you will reach success in regard to search engine traffic. When you get the traffic, the advertising revenue will come along for the ride!
