Videocon D2H HD DVR User Experience and Review Posted: 07 Jun 2011 05:06 AM PDT Yes, univesal remote can be easily done, and it was there with all function when i was using old STB WITHOUT RECORDING of videocon itself but in this new STB WITH RECORDING, they and I myself were not able to activate VOLUME DECREASE and MUTE . Thats why I am not using it as universal remote. I think problem is not with my TV, it should be with remote, because in old STB WITHOUT RECORDING all functions were working well. Anyway not a big issue. Now I am ok with it. In fact, now I am switching off my TV from main, this helps to save electricty. Though it may not be much, but even sea is made up of small drops.
gotta buy acheap point and shoot camera...please suggest!!!!!! Posted: 07 Jun 2011 05:00 AM PDT well if they had a habit of printing details out side the box then i would not have asked this here, as i had expected:redface:, there was mention of the color brown(not my preferred color) out side the box, and they refused to let me check the box first, the bluedart person, so i paid them first and then opened the box and to my surprise it was my preferred color red:thumbup (2):, but again a blunder they had done as i had expected , they did not send the rechargeable battery charger which was free , other free things like 4gb card and pouch was there but not the charger, so i called them and she was making excuses , ki aapke deal me wo nahi tha and all, but i sent her a picture of the box which states that there is a free charger , lets see what lets buy does now.:smartass:

Posted: 07 Jun 2011 04:51 AM PDT Yeah this option seems good. I dont even have to worry about my Windows files getting corrupt. I think the best use of this OS that i can make is, i cud get an External HDD when finances permit, and install this permanently on that. All my data too wud be stored on it. Windows will exist only if i find some time for gaming. But now, if i install this in my WIndows partition, ie, Drive C, then will it be safe? Shud i go ahead with it?

BEAM TELE BROADBAND SERVICES IN HYDERABAD best n cheapest Posted: 07 Jun 2011 04:35 AM PDT Quote: Regrettably, as a consumer you have virtually no rights or recourse unless it's specifically covered under the Consumer Protection Act or various regulations from the DoT and/or TRAI. From memory, cancellation of services is covered, as is the service being down (5-7 days would be unacceptable downtime according to the regulations), but MOVING services is not because ISPs can only sometimes even guarantee feasibility in the new location for any number of reasons, thanks to the last-mile in India being so fragmented and messed up. If, however, they gave you something in writing only then are they contractually bound to do anything within a given time period, and if you had an SLA, it would be far less than 5-7 days - probably more like 4 hours except in the event of some major catastrophe (aka "The Act of God" clause).
