Opera Mobile - Opera Mini - Opera Browser Updates

Posted: 23 Jun 2011 04:57 AM PDT

Yeah but in Chrome, i think u need to first synchronise any Chromium based browser with ur account in any Machine u intend to use. That isnt feasible always. but in this i just checked out that i can login to my Opera account from any browser, and without synchronising, i can access these stuff.

Checking what Google dashboard has in store......i think it might have saved my Chrome data in similar way.

FIX :By-Pass Torrent Throttling by Airtel

Posted: 23 Jun 2011 04:55 AM PDT

As we all know, P2P speed in India is being throttled by Airtel. For those who cannot afford VPN or Torrentflux hosting, below are the alternative Bittorrent client that can be used to bypass traffic shaping by Airtel. All these are working perfectly fine for me on most sites :

1. Xunlei a.k.a. Thunder : Download it here : Thunder5.8.13.699.zip
(30% Chinese ) (Super Stable) This is a port and is completely adfree.

2. Deluge : Download from here : http://www.rasterbar.com/products/libtorrent/ (Unstable but working fine for me )

3. Halite: https://sourceforge.net/projects/halite/ (Unstable but working fine for me )

Please report back with Feedbacks :)

Cheers

Hayai Broadband Launch in India

Posted: 23 Jun 2011 04:45 AM PDT

i do not think you read his threads carefully. he has always been very defensive about talking about other operators.

he has posted good stuff about beam and the newer packages from airtel.

of course, there is a critical issue that hayai has not launched yet.

the point remains, his feedback has resulted in people realizing a lot of stuff including... unlimited plans are not sustainable... ISPs are overcharging for bandwidth in the name of speeds... tons of other stuff.

--

if you really want to see how a marketing person would respond to competition threads, just look at the posts made by techfreek. he has a history of entering every darn thread and post about beam broadband. compare the behavior of the these two individuals.
