| Are games like World of Warcraft and Starcraft 2 online banned in India?HELP! Posted: 24 Jun 2011 05:23 AM PDT Quote: .They said that they had contacted Blizzard entertainment and told them to pay money as I was playing from India and it was not allowed.I got an email from Blizzard saying that the Indian government had asked them for a lot of money to launch the game in India and they had to pay around 100 million $ per year.Blizzard refused because they could not pay so much as there were not enough WoW players in India. Also, pics else it did not happen. |

| New Airtel Broadband Plans with Better Fair Usage Policy Limits? Posted: 24 Jun 2011 04:58 AM PDT Quote: Has anybody ever had a problem with the accuracy of airtel's Fair Usage Policy calculations ? As in, they tell you that you have downloaded your allotted quota, but you feel that you haven't ? I have Fair Usage Policy of 30Gb and it always seems to run out very quickly. Do you think Airtel can/is doing that, manipulating the Fair Usage Policy.?? I did get alerted by email for the 30GB Fair Usage Policy limit but I am still getting 2mbps. I downloaded test files everyday and just a few hours back I crossed 75 GB download and 5 GB upload. The speed is still 2mbps. It has happened only this month. |

After seeing lots promotions on the "times of india" newspaper, I called CC to activate the "movies now" on airtel SD box then I followed next few days to watch few good movies but unfortunately I didn't get even one single movie which would have pushed me to watch (Or We can say, my high expectations didn't match with "movies now"). All the aired movies were already seen in past. After running a month long frustrations, I decided to deactivate movies now and go with only Start movie HD, HBO, Pix..... That's because I see most of the movies the moment they hit the marquee :D :D |

| Looking to buy a new 40 or 42" 3d LED TV, Brand doesnt matter, Budget >70k and <1 lac Posted: 24 Jun 2011 04:30 AM PDT 1st gen anaglyph 3d tvs are 120hz so they provide 60hz pictures to each eye (red cyan technology). The underlying technology ie panel type, led backlighting, 3d implementation is more important. Latest gen ones use shutter glasses (like the technology in PVR) and have a much result. But are quite expensive. 3d tvs arnt matured enough and hence most models factor in bleeding edge tax. I think autostereoscopic tvs which produce the 3d effect without glasses like the Nintendo 3ds handheld will be available next year. |
