Ok..here's an update. Got a call from TakaSky from the number +91 40-27655814. A lady named Sridevi called to say that TataSky is very sorry about the issue. But they cannot do anything about it as the package has been activated already. So I lose the money because TataSky thinks that cheating people of their money means a bigger bottomline in this crowded market is the best way to jhinga lala!!!

I still feel if everything is fine, then try using Safe Mode......may be a few malicious programs are running & blocking ur speed then.

A similar thing happened with me once. In normal mode, i cudnt connect to the internet, and in safe mode i was able to connect.

SO i compared the task managers of the 2 modes side by side & found a malicious program that was blocking the path. I still hadnt installed any AV suite, so i located it & manually deleted it.
